Community Building Tutors (CBT) was founded in 2004 to promote community involvement through a free, unique tutoring service. CBT works to build and strengthen the diverse Chicago and Minneapolis neighborhoods it serves through exposing young learners to the issues in their communities. CBT’s young learners not only grow academically but also develop strong character while playing a role in giving back to their community. To date, CBT has delivered over 10,000 hours of free tutoring and programming.

STEMscape is a platform to centralize the process of students signing up for opportunities to volunteer and tracking their hours.
