Battelle National Biodefense Institute (BNBI) is committed to getting middle schoolers interested in the sciences; it is offering a $100,000 gift to Frederick County Public Schools' STEM program.
This is BNBI’s third gift in two years. BNBI is a part of Battelle, the nonprofit, independent research and development organization based in Columbus, Ohio, which operates a lab at Fort Detrick. With this gift, BNBI will have given a total of $220,000 to FCPS for STEM education.
